The next installment in the Let's Quilt series is Open Baptist Fans; Amanda Murphy makes it 'sew easy'. We will quilt the entire "quiltlet" with the classic new edge-to-edge design.

*Sewing machine in good working order with new needle Quilting or Microtex, size 80/12 or 9/14
*Quilting ruler foot for use with 1/4" rulers (BERNINA #72/72S)
*Straight stitch presser foot (BERNINA #1/1C/1D OR Walking Foot)
*Amanda Murphy's Open Baptist Fans Ruler Set
A Quilt sandwiches - Muslin is a perfect choice, approximately 20" x 20"
*Basted with spray, not pins
*Contrasting thread so you can easily see your stitching, Mettler 50 wt cotton is a good choice
*Marking pen easily seen on your fabric
Basic sewing kit: extra needles, empty bobbin, scissors, etc
*Slide on tray or Sew Steady Table for your machine
*Quilting gloves (optional)
