Supply List     (Download HERE)

Pattern & Stays for Aunties Two Patterns “GIANT POPPINS BAG” (stays come with pattern and you can purchase stays without pattern if you want to make more than one bag)

Fabric A (outside) (Non-directional fabric with 42” of usable width) 2 yards

This is the bag body, side binding, inside pockets and pocket lining.

For directional print fabric or panels, you will need enough fabric to cut the following: 2 rectangles 21” tall x 34” wide. If using a panel, purchase an additional piece of fabric of 1.5 yards for the other parts.

Fabric B - Inside Bag Body Lining – 1 yard

Fabric C – Handles, Bottom, Binding, Bows, Tabs – 1.5 yards

Interfacing:

Bag Body: Bosal's IN-R-Foirm Plus (double side fusible foam batting (you need f pieces the size of your bag). - 2 yards

Bottoms: Bosal's Craftex Plus (30” wide – this is a double-side fusible very stiff interfacing – 1 yard OR use Bosal's pre-cut Craftes Plus GIANT Poppins Bag Bottoms

Zipper – 36” Handbag Zipper with wide zipper tape and double slides

Other Tools: Sewing machine with a free arm and either dual feed or walking foot

Size 100 quilting or top-stitch needles

Threads to match or contrast with your fabrics

Parchment paper and or Teflon pressing sheet

Paper or template plastic to trace bottom pattern on

Wonder Clips, the larger ones

Rotary cutter, 60 mm – a must have, the 45 mm cutter just doesn't do it

Fabric marker, erasable – Sewline air or water marker works great

Seam ripper, I had to use mine twice, sorry to say

measuring tape

Pencil with eraser for turning tubes

You will not need your machine for the first class. We will be cutting, marking and fusing the bag parts so do bring along your pressing sheet & parchment paper so we don't make a mess on the iron and ironing table. I suggest you identify your bag pieces as you cut them.

Kami will be able to assist you with getting the supplies ordered.
