Let's Quilt - Clamshells
Jazz up your quilting with the clamshell ruler, available in a variety of sizes.
*Quilters Select is the preferred brand, but if you already have one, bring it.
Recommended size: 2-3"; I like the 3" or 4" size; sample made with 5" & 2-1/2" combo ruler
*Small layered sample 18" x 22" or larger (please pre-baste your sample with spray, not pins.) to include two layers of fabric and one of batting.
*Sewing machine w/new quilting needle and #72 ruler foot (Bernina) or equivalent for other brand of machine
*Sew Steady Table if you have it -- it helps tremendously to work on a larger flat surface
*Cotton thread to contrast with your fabric - you want to see your stitches easily
*Basic sewing supplies
