T-Shirt Quilt (3 Months)
I've been making t-shirt quilts for the over 15 years and have figured out the best methods to make these unique quilts. My design is simple yet impressive.
For the January class you will need to bring your uncut t-shirts, a 12 ½” ruler, rotary cutter, scissors and stabilizer. I prefer the June Taylor T-Shirt Project Fusible Interfacing which is available at the store. You will not need your sewing machine for this class.
For February you will need 2 fabrics for the sashing and borders in addition to your cut and stabilized shirts. When I make a 4 shirt x 5 shirt quilt I purchase 1 ½ yards for the first sashing and 3 yards for the second sashing, borders and binding. However you can mix your fabric anyway you’d like. Bring your sewing machine, thread and the normal supplies.
For the March class we will finish the top. Bring your sewing machine, thread and the normal supplies.
