Description: The making of a rug using a jelly roll and 2.25” strips of cotton quilt batting
Supply List:
*Jelly Roll pattern of your choice: Jelly-Roll Rug2, or Slice Rug
Jelly roll or cut your own fabric into 40 – 2.5” strips for the rectangle rug or 31 for slice rug
*50 yards of 2.25” Bosal Katahdin On-a-Roll batting for rectangle rug or 25 yards for slice rug
*Clover Fabric Tube Maker – This tool makes it so-o-o-o-h much easier to make the tubes. I highly recommend it.
Thread to match or coordinate with your fabrics – the thread will show. I've found it fun to use a multi-colored thread
Size 14 or 16 jeans needle
Sewing machine with 5.5 mm presser foot
Sewing machine in good working order.
