Session 1 – June 6, 7 & 8, 2022
Session 2 – July 11, 12 & 13, 2022
9:30 am – 12:00 pm
Students should be 10 years of age or have permission of the instructor to attend.
Supply List
*Straight pins
*Seam ripper
*Fabric scissors
*Thread to match each project fabric – please purchase @ Bernina Sewing Center since the kids will be using our machines. This is a better quality thread and will not gunk up our machines.
Day 1 – Tidy Tray
Fabric: Either 2 matching *fat quarters OR
2 different ¼ yards of fabric
*Thread
Day 2 – Pillow Case
7/8 yard cotton fabric for main part of pillowcase
3/8 yard cotton fabric for cuff
1 package of jumbo ric rac
*Thread to match ric rac
Day 3 – Shoestrings (80” laces)
¼ yard of cotton fabric
*Thread to match
End pieces will be provided
Please no stretchy fabrics – they are hard to work with. The woven cotton fabric (quilting cotton) provides more stability and is better for beginners.
