Sewing machine and basic sewing supplies
Rotary mat, cutter and ruler, (Omnigrid 4” or 4 ½”square & 4” x 8” recommended, 6” x 12” optional)
¼” foot
Add-a-quarter ruler
Pad of mini diamonds (order from store)
Thread, embroidery weight cotton, Mettler 60/2 or DMC
New needle 70
Empty bobbin
Silk pins recommended or clover clips
Stiletto, helpful (optional)
Straight stitch throat plate (optional)
Clover or other small iron & pad, helpful (optional)
Baggies, optional but helpful
Fabric, 100% cotton, please pre-size the fabric. (Spray with sizing, not starch and press)
Try to choose small prints or tone on tone or solids
If you want a rainbow effect, you will need at least 12 colors ( i used 24)
1/2 yd for background (I used white) but not one of your colors
