Road Trip to The Sewing Workshop

Sew Pants That Fit

Friday, October 2, 2020

10 am to 5 pm
Topeka, Kansas

Cost $150 + $25 deposit

Transportation not included

Please join us for a road trip to Topeka, Kansas, for a class at The Sewing Workshop taught by nationally-acclaimed sewing instructor Linda Lee. Linda develops her own patterns and sells high-quality fabrics at her lovely store in Topeka. She is an excellent sewing instructor who was inducted into the 2019 American Sewing Guild Hall of Fame.

We will car pool to Topeka for the day where Linda will teach us how to sew a pair pants that fit. The Sewing Workshop has many different styles of pants to choose from, and Linda said there will be a jeans pattern coming out this year! There are muslins in multiple sizes of her various pants patterns. That means that you don't have to take the time to sew your own!

Once you have found the pants pattern and fabric you love, we will spend the rest of the day sewing.
