Melanie Jasmine is a Texas-based costume designer, panelist and makeup artist with over 7 years of experience in sewing and design.  The 9am workshop is "Sewing 101" and the 1pm workshop is "It Has Pockets".  Price includes both workshops with Melanie Jasmine, lunch, kits, and use of classroom machine (or you may bring your own).  

 

The first workshop, Sewing 101, will familiarize you with the machines while you make a reversible tote bag. The second workshop, It has Pockets!, will give you the knowledge to include hidden pockets in garments and costumes as well as adding a variety of patch pockets to things.
